Alexis Denisof Denisof is best-known for playing Wesley Wyndam-Pryce in the television series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and its spin-off "Angel". Despite playing a British character, he's actually American, but he lived and worked in Britain for a number of years, which explains his flawless English accent as Wesley.Prior to his work on the show, Denisof was heavily involved in theater acting and fight directing (including acting alongside Anthony Head aka Rupert Giles in Buffy in one production). On TV, he had appeared with Sean Bean in three episodes of "Sharpe". Off-screen, Denisof had dated comedian Caroline Aherne at one point while living in England. Since, October 11, 2003 though, he has been married to Alyson Hannigan, who played 'Willow Rosenberg' in "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".
