Anna Popplewell The talented up-and-comer is thus far best known for her role as Susan Pevensie in "The Chronicles of Narnia" film series for which she was nominated for the Best Movie Choice Actress award from The Teen Choice Awards, as well as won a Character and Morality in Entertainment Award for "The Lion, the Witch and wardrobe".She began acting at the age of six, taking classes at the Allsorts Drama School. Her first professional role was in the TV production "Frenchman's Creek" in 1998. Her film debut came a year later in the film "Mansfield Park", and since then, she's appeared in supporting roles in films like "The Little Vampire", "Thunderpants" and "Girl with a Pearl Earring". More recently, she's been studying English at Magdalen College, Oxford and was awarded the Cuppers Prize in 2007, for Best Supporting Actress, in the student production "Five Kinds of Silence". And in December 2007, she acted as Lady Macbeth in a student production of "Macbeth" at the Old Fire Station theater in Oxford. She is next scheduled to appear in "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian". Her two siblings, Freddie Popplewell and Lulu Popplewell who starred in "Love Actually", are also actors.
