Candace Cameron Bure Cameron is best known for her role as Donna Jo "D.J." Tanner on the television show "Full House". She is also the younger sister of actor Kirk Cameron. She first started out acting in commercials, then eventually earning guest-star spots on a number of television shows, including "St. Elsewhere", "Growing Pains", and "Who's the Boss", and finally taking on aforementioned triumphant role in the 1986 sitcom "Full House".
