Chevy Chase The old-school comedian rose to prominence in the 70s becoming an overnight hit sensation on "Saturday Night Live" going on to received two Emmy Awards and a Golden Globe Award for his comedy writing and live comic acting. At one time he was dubbed the funniest man in America by the New York Magazine.
