Elizabeth Banks

Elizabeth Banks has been steadily proving herself a very promising up-and-coming actress. Her first exposure to the camera funnily enough came as a contestant on the Nickelodeon game show 'Finders Keepers'. Upon graduation from the University of Pennsylvania and completion of schooling at the 'American Conservatory Theater', she has appeared in likes of "Seabuscuit", "Heights", and as Betty Brant in the "Spider-man" films.
Her most prominent and widely recognized roles, however, have been those of "The 40-Year-Old Virgin", "Slither" and "Invincible" (as Mark Wahlberg's love interest). In May 2006, she took on her highest-profile role to date, that of Dr. Kim Briggs, the love interest of J.D. in the much-watched sitcom "Scrubs", and she has since been featured as a recurring guest actress on the show. Banks married her College sweetheart Max Handelman in 2003, and has converted to Judaism in the process.
