Jensen Ackles

A quite handsome and very talented actor who has thus far made a name for himself on such TV shows as "Days of Our Lives", "Smallville", "Dark Angel", and most prominently "Supernatural". Ackles is a native of Texas and prior to acting he had been modeling since he was four. He transitioned into acting taking on roles in such features as "Mr.
Rhodes", "Sweet Valley High", and "Cybill". Upon joining "Days of Our Lives" in 1997, he won a 1998 Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Newcomer and went on to be nominated three times (in 1998, 1999, and 2000) for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series. He kept steady from then on, appearing in the miniseries "Blonde", "Dawson'sCreek" and the aforementioned above shows. He had actually auditioned for the role of Clark Kent in "Smallville" but it went to Tom Welling instead. In 2006, he starred in the indie comedy "Ten Inch Hero", and has received magnanimous praise for the role. The movie is currently waiting to find a distributor for feature film release. Showing no signs of slowing down, he also made his debut on stage alongside Lou Diamond Phillips, in the production of "A Few Good Men" as Lt. Daniel Kaffee; Reviews for his performance have been nothing short of rave.
