Judith Light The well-renowned actress has had a long and prosperous career on television, having first gained recognition on the soap opera "One Life to Live" portraying the character of Viki Lord for which she won Daytime Emmy Awards in 1980 and 1981, to following through with the role of Angel Bower on the hit sitcom "Who's the Boss?" (arguably her most famous role to date); to more recent turns in the likes of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Ugly Betty".She's also gained much critical acclaim for her work on stage as Dr. Vivian Bearing in WIT, Margaret Edson's Pulitzer Prize-winning play. Essentially a one woman show, Light's performance earned her some serious credibility as a dramatic actress. Off-screen, Light is noted gay rights and AIDS activist and has done work for many LGBT charities.
