Kevin Smith

The King of Fanboys and Geeks, and rightly so having earned that title, given his smart enthusiasm, commentary, and pop culture references that so frequntly appear in his films; not to mention being one of the most loved directors out there, with a more than loyal and consistently growing fanbase. Smith is also renowned alongside Tarantino for no just his uncanny writing skill, but for also breaking into Hollywood agasint all odds, by going off and making his own succesful indie film.
This film was "Clerks", and Smith followed that with "Mallrats", "Chasing Amy", "Clerks II", "Dogma", "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" and "Jersey Girl".
