Marilu Henner

Henner has had a long and prosperous career in Hollwyood. She first started out in theater and made famous the role of Marty in "Grease" alongside John Travolta. Her first film appearance was in the 1977 sleeper hit "Between The Lines". However, it was her role of Elaine Nardo in the hit television series "Taxi" that shot her into prime-time.
From 1990 through 1994 she appeared opposite Burt Reynolds in the TV show "Evening Shade", which also starred Ossie Davis and Hal Holbrook. She then followed that with her won talk show "Marilu". And in 2005 and 2006, she hosted the television series "America's Ballroom Challenge". In movies, she was the leading lady in the 1984 film "Johnny Dangerously", playing love interest to Michael Keaton, and also appeared in "Noises Off" in 1992, and in "Man on the Moon" in 1999, a film about her Taxi co-star Andy Kaufman, in which she played both herself and her Taxi character. Henner is more known today as an author than an actress. She has authored seven books on diet and health, the most prominent being "Total Health Makeover", in which she explains the virtues of a non-dairy diet in conjunction with food combining & exercise. She later hosted FitTV and The Discovery Channel's "Shape Up Your Life", based on her books. Henner has had notable romances with actors John Travolta, Judd Hirsch and Tony Danza, which she comments on in her own autobiography "By All Means, Keep on Moving". She was married twice, to actor Frederic Forrest and director Robert Lieberman; both of which ended in divorce. She is currently married to Michael Brown, a former college classmate. They wed in December 2006.
