Oliver Stone

"Controversial" is the word often used to describe Oliver Stone and his films, and it's not difficult to see why: "Platoon", "Wall Street", "Natural Born Killers","Any Given Sunday", "JFK", "Nixon", "The Doors", "Alexander", "Salvador", "Persona Non Grata", not to mention he also wrote the script for the classic "Scarface".
The list pretty much speaks for itself, and the director's ever bold and in your face visaul style, is always a treat to watch as he consistently orchestrates a full-on bombardment assault on the senses, providing us with not just exaggerated and entertaining madness, but rare expose glimpses into the dark side of humanity and conspiracies. In short, one of the greatest directors cinema has ever known.
