Sigourney Weaver The immensely talented and legendary actress has appeared in a great number of critically acclaimed films including: "Gorillas in the Mist", "The Ice Storm", "Dave", "The Year of Living Dangerously", "Jeffrey", "Heartbreakers", "Ghostbusters", and "Working Girl". Her most iconic role however, is that of Ellen Ripley in the "Alien" Quadrilogy, portraying the first ever female action hero and garnering Weaver an Oscar nomination for "Aliens".In addition to this, Weaver is also one of only ten actors and actresses to have ever received two nominations in the same year, which she did in 1988 for "Working Girl" and "Gorillas in the Mist".
