Thora Birch

A greatly talented actress and one of the better recognizable but often underrated child-actresses of her generation having starred in such films as, "Alaska", "Hocus Pocus", "Now and Then", "Patriot Games" and "Clear and Present Danger". She is now however, toasted for her performances in mature fare with films such as "American Beauty" and "Ghost World".
Her roles in both films garnered her almost ubiquitous praise. Other roles of hers include, the shabby "Dungeons and Dragons" and the moderate "The Smokers". She also earned an Emmy nomination for her work in "Homeless to Harvard: The Liz Murray Story" in 2003. Her more recent work include starring roles in "Dark Corners", "Shamrock Boy" and "Tainted Love". She is also set to star in th films "Frail", "Winter of Frozen Dreams" and "Train".
Birch is the daughter of former adult film actors Jack Birch and Carol Connors, who both appeared in the pornographic film, "Deep Throat", and have both served as her managers to present day. I addition to acting, she has indicated that she has aspirations to become a director and has recently begun directing short video sketches for a sketch comedy troupe called "The Doomed Planet". The sketches can be seen on her official website (http://thora.org/navframe.html).
