Timothy Spall A well-recognizable and talented English screen and stage actor. Spall was initially notable in the U.K. for portraying the role of Barry Taylor in all four series of "Auf Wiedersehen, Pet" from 1983-2004. More recently however, he is more recognized for his film-work, having appeared in such features as: "Secrets & Lies", "Shooting the Past", "Rock Star", "The Last Samurai", "Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events", and most prominently, as Peter Pettigerew a.k.a. "Wormtail" in the "Harry Potter" film series. He also lent his voice to the 2006 video game "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories" in which he voiced Phil Collins' manager, Barry Mickelthwaite. Most recently, he starred in "Tim Burton's "Sweeney Todd". Spall is married and has three children: Mercedes, Pascale, and Rafe, who is also an actor. In 1996, he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, but has since been in remission and taking it easy. In December 31, 1999, he was named an Officer of the British Empire.
