Tom Chaplin Tom Chaplin is the lead singer of the English piano-rock band, Keane. Keane started out in the mid-90s as "The Lotus Eaters", and was originally intended as a cover band that played U2, Oasis and The Beatles at Sussex pubs. It was put together by Tim Rice-Oxley and Dominic Scott, as well as drummer Richard Hughes.
